About Us

Carnegie Weight Management is a non-profit organisation established at Leeds Metropolitan University to undertake the highest quality interventions, education, training and research to successfully treat overweight and obese children. We aim to maximise our impact on the health and well-being of not only the families we work with but our wider society.

Carnegie Weight Management has developed a range of treatment options that have been supported through an evaluative evidence-based approach. Carnegie Weight Management believes that through this research process we have developed an understanding of the key ingredients required to appropriately and successfully treat childhood obesity.
